The Scand Nordic 27 aka Scand 27 Nordic or Nordic 27 is a motorboat designed by the Norwegian maritime architect Alf Jensen in the early eighties. The Scand Nordic 27 is built by the Norwegian yard Scand Boats A/S.

Hull

Both the hull and the deck is made of fibreglass. Generally, a hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season. And outside the sailing season, just bottom cleaning and perhaps anti-fouling painting once a year - a few hours of work, that's all.
The deck is a double deck which improves the indoor climate.

Interior

The interior is like most other boats made of teak.
The boat is equipped with 4-6 berths, a galley and toilet facility.

Keel

The boat can enter even shallow marinas as the draft is just about 0.85 - 0.95 meter (2.79 - 3.09 ft) dependent on the load. See immersion rate below.

Engine

Scand Nordic 27 is typically equipped with an inboard Volvo Penta TMD 30 diesel engine at 110.0 hp (81 kW).

The fuel tank which is made of stainless steel has a capacity of 400.0 liters (105 US gallons, 87 imperial gallons).
